We are pleased to welcome guests to our home in the heart of the beautiful Valle D’Itria, just 10 minutes from the ancient town of Martina Franca. We are ideally placed for access from the two local airports being about 40 minutes drive from Brindisi and 1 hour 15 minutes from Bari, both of which are well-served by low-cost airlines. Villa Salice is well situated for exploring the many delights of this beautiful region. Villa Salice Accommodation at Villa Salice is offered in a purpose-built double-bedded room with en-suite shower room and is separate to our own house. We provide our guests with their own set of keys to this room and the main gate to the property which affords a high level of privacy and independence and leaves you free to come and go as you please. Tea and coffee facilities are all provided as well as a welcome drink on arrival. We are also delighted to offer our guests the use of our private swimming pool which is open and available for use from late April to October, weather permitting.

Enjoy your spare time in the mountains of Sicily… The Country Hotel The Country Hotel Restaurant "Da Marianna" has been lying for 30 years at 1,100 meters of altitude in Nebrodi Mountains, in the Municipality of Santa Domenica Vittoria, near Floresta and at the border between the provinces of Catania and Messina. The structure is surrounded by the peacefulness of nature, but also exploits its very favorable position and easy connections with Nebrodi Park, Alcantara Park, Etna Park, the historical town of Randazzo and Malabotta Woodland. An ideal place for a natural holiday, you can exploit its outdoor park to find relax and peaceful moments without giving up any kind of comfort and service. The Structure The Hotel offers solutions both for families and organized groups who choose the Country Hotel for their stay of more days/weeks in eastern Sicily. The Restaurant The restaurant, thanks to the experience and the clients' satisfaction, has become one of the most famous restaurants in the valley. With its 350 seats, its is ideal for events, ceremonies, tastings, and many other occasions. The cuisine boasts several local dishes. The gastronomy is simple and genuine: Nebrodi appetizers with cheese, provole, fresh and cooked ricotta cheese, cold cuts, products in oil, season vegetables, and hot ricotta cheese. First dishes rediscover ancient tastes and recipes with home-made pasta, seasoned with king bolete or other delicious sauces. Second courses, that have become the restaurant specialities, offer genuine and fresh grilled meat coming from animals bred in the pastures, mixed grill with mutton, sausage, pork, and veal; moreover, many other dishes are prepared every day for the guests. Of course, there are also the traditional Sicilian desserts to taste not only at lunch and dinner, but also in any other moment of the day, together with liquor-like wines or tea, coffee, and biscuits. Tours and Activities The structure is the ideal departure point for trekking activities, tours on horseback and by mountain bike, trips by all-terrain vehicles, and for any transfer to reach the departure points for tours in Nebrodi Park, in Alcantara Park, in Etna Park, to Malabotta Woodland or Taormina Valley. Among the itineraries that directly leave from the structure: Santa Maria del Bosco Mountain Hut, Dorsale dei Nebrodi, the trails of the Etnea high-mountain track (Mt. Spagnolo, Pirao, Grotta del Gelo, Mt. Maletto), and the itineraries of the upper course of the river Alcantara. Nature-lovers must visit Randazzo, a medieval town rich in ancient churches and museums. Linked to the services of the Country Hotel, the Association Cavalieri dei Nebrodi offers a manège, horse-riding meetings lasting more days along the park horse-riding trails, and full-day tours on horseback.

The initial block of Hotel Capo Sud *** was built in 1955 by the Di Puccio family which still runs the hotel today. Since then the hotel has been enlarged and regularly restructured, but its discreet and friendly welcome has not changed. The hotel has fourty rooms in small cottages located in the large (10000 sqm) garden reaching our beach. These cottages are named Palm, Eucalyptus, Sun, Aleatico, Moon, Pinetree, Mimosa, Nightingale, Butterbush, Sea Urchin and Sage; their names were suggested to us by their peculiar position within the green mediterranean vegetation which surrounds the hotel. In the hotel's central building is the main restaurant: our kitchen prepares wholesome dishes and you may choose every day sea specialties. Our guests particularly appreciate the hotel's proximity to the sea. The three paths leading to the beach start from the terrace where breakfast is served, near the waterlilys pond. The small cottages with most of our rooms, all with a small balcony, are located in the vegetation near the paths leading to the beach. A few steps and you will reach one of the hotel's most beautiful places, the scenographic swimming pool facing the sea. Near the swimming pool are a bar and a small nice open-air restaurant which is active since mid June. Here, at lunch, you may eat a-la-carte or have a complete lunch at a good price. This is our beach: one of the most peaceful of Elba even during the summer months when the island is more crowded. The hotel's private beach with the beach umbrellas, deckchairs and sun beds in the sand area is reserved to our clients and free of charge. Adults and children can relax and swim safely in the swimming pool and in the sea under the surveillance of the lifeguards.We are in a very quiet location, in the middle of the vegetation right near the boundary of the "Natural Park of Tuscan Isles" which guarantees clean sea and unpolluted nature. Playing sports in such an environment is even more pleasant. The hotel has a synthetic lawn tennis court where you can play free of charge. Our guests can use without additional costs our bowl court. In Elba there are many routes where you can ride bicycles with wonderful views of the nature and the sea. On the beach our lifeguard may rent you canoes and pedalos. One hundred meters from our beach there is a sailing and windsurf school which is good both for beginners and experienced sailors. Finally, Capo Sud has agreements with a scuba diving school and with a manege for pleasant horse rides. For those interested in playing golf, the Acquabona golf course is just 8 km from us.Those less interested in sports and who want to escape the sun of the beach in the hottest hours of the day may borrow one of 1000 books from our library and sit in the shade of the garden. In the hotel's hall there is a piano and often our guests delight us with good music. We are located in a central position within Elba so that you can easily reach Elba's main towns with a few minutes ride by car: Capoliveri and its old village on the slopes of a hill, Portoferraio with the Medici's fortress and Napoleon's villas and Porto Azzurro and Marina di Campo with their elegant shops. Those who don't want to use the car for the whole holiday can take a nice walk in the surroundings such as the promontory of Cape Stella with the view of the sea on both sides of the walk. Those who just want to relax may still enjoy the beauty of the island while sitting on a comfortable bench of Hotel Capo Sud.

L'Ariana is a small rock lost in the blue of the sea of Salina, sometimes visible only for a thin fuzzy in the sea. Amongst many legends that are told about this little gem there is the one of the pirate El Larian, defeated by this rock; a silent and almost invisible presence. In front of this rock there is a beautiful villa, unique in its own kind, that will welcome you with the joy and the glow of good hospitality and the delicious fragrance of excellent local cuisine, typical of the tradition of Salina.
